What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-In
Your room is available from 3:00 PM. Arriving earlier? No problem! You can leave your luggage with us and start enjoying the island. If your room is ready earlier, you are, of course, welcome to use it.
Check-Out
Check-out is until 10:30 AM. Late check-out is possible upon request and subject to availability, at a cost of €35 per room or suite.

Yes! During your stay, you can use our swimming pool and sauna for free. You can also use the solarium for €5 per 10 minutes or book a massage through the reception.

Are dogs allowed in the hotel?
Yes, a maximum of 1 dog per room is allowed. This must be communicated in advance. The surcharge is €15 per night.

Can I rent a (electric) bike at the hotel?
Enjoy cycling across the island with bikes from the Tijs Knop; rental service. This is the best way to explore Terschelling. We have men’s and women’s bikes ready at the hotel for you. Electric bikes, tandems, dog carts, and child seats must be reserved in advance, and we will ensure they are ready for you at the hotel.

There is a public parking area 150 meters from the hotel where you can park for free.

Which transport options are available from the harbor to the hotel?
If you don’t bring a car or bike, you can take the bus from the harbor to the hotel for free on arrival and departure days. Take line 2 to Paal 8 Hotel aan Zee. In winter, the bus does not run on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. More information: https://www.bus-terschelling.nl/lijn2.
It’s also possible to rent a bike at the harbor from Tijs Knop Bike Rental, who will transport your luggage to the hotel free of charge. You can reserve online via www.tijsknop.nl.
